I was honored to come aboard as Creed’s General Manager in March of 2021. With nearly 20 years of experience in a variety of industries, I’ve worked in professional sports, entertainment, non-profit organizations, large corporations, and now at Creed.
Creed is a people-first digital agency located in Lowertown, Saint Paul that specializes in designing and developing custom software solutions and websites. In my role as General Manager, I work to ensure client satisfaction, which starts with making sure that projects are set up for success and team members feel empowered at work.
Share about your involvement with Full Stack Saint Paul
I joined Full Stack Saint Paul last summer and have been honored to partner with so many of Saint Paul’s best and brightest in technology, innovation, economic and workforce development. I currently serve as the Full Stack Saint Paul Promotions Committee Chair, working closely with the talented marketing and communications leaders from the City of Saint Paul, St. Paul Area Chamber, and area businesses to further promote Saint Paul’s vibrant people, places, and innovative culture.
What do you enjoy most about working in the Saint Paul tech ecosystem or what has you most excited about being a part of it?
Saint Paul is an amazing place to work, play, live, and thrive. We are exceptionally fortunate to be in a community that not only values a strong and diverse technology and innovation ecosystem, but works purposefully to further foster, embrace, and encourage it–and not just for the short-term, but with long-range, strategic programming and initiatives.
What are some of the most significant barriers for people entering into tech and innovative fields in Saint Paul you are seeing at this time?
While many significant barriers continue to exist, as a member of our Full Stack Promotions Committee I think there is always room for us to further amplify the strength and diversity of the people, places, and innovative tech ecosystem that we have here in the Saint Paul community. In doing so, we will continue to entice new entrepreneurs, business leaders, and members of our workforce; while also strengthening hometown pride for those already well-versed in the great work happening here. While certainly not a solution to all the barriers, much like a snowball that builds as it rolls down the hill, this amplification will help connect more people to resources, to our inspiring places, and to the opportunities that can enable us to further address ongoing barriers.
